Baby & Toddler Signing Tips

Tips when signing with your baby or toddler:
  • Signing does not mean being silent!  Every time you say the word, sign it!
  • Keep it simple.  Start with 3-5 signs by incorporating them into your daily routine.
  • Sign in their field of vision. Make sure your child can see your hands, mouth and face as you sign to them.
  • Children should never feel pressured to sign. Do not force their hands.
  • Watch Baby Signing Time and Signing Time DVDs together!  Lil Signing Hands proudly promote and sell Signing Time products.  Visit our store or contact me for a recommendation.
  • Be patient and don't forget to have FUN! Signing should feel relaxed, natural and fun.
