"Kim is absolutely amazing and makes learning sign language fun for both baby & parents. The classes involve learning the signing in many forms (songs, activities, stories, etc) so it's very inclusive to all learning styles. Not only will this help our little one be able to communicate with us before he can talk, but it also opens up a whole new world of being able to communicate with those who use sign and especially those who use sign as their main language. Classes
Parent & Tot Play, Sing & Sign are for our young learners ages 0-5. We provide a safe play area with toys, balls, and books. Our program leads caregivers through a variety of songs, games, reading and craft activities that will help your child with the development of not only sign language but gross motor skills. Each Parent & Tot class lasts 45 minutes and may also include play time with bubbles, parachute, and play with a variety of musical instruments. Each class will be based on a theme that will be reflected in all of the games and activities.

Highlights of the signing component in our Parent & Tot Program include:
-Learning the signs to popular children’s nursery rhymes, stories, games, songs and holidays!
-Learning the signs for popular foods, family members, feelings, alphabet and numbers!
Play, Sing & Sign class is designed for “beginners” or any family that is focusing on reinforcing “starter signs” from Baby Signing Time Vol. 1-4 DVDs (including those for food, drink, pets, family, clothing, transportation, manners and bedtime. In addition, this course covers more “abstract concepts” such as day and night, outside, bugs, friends, feelings, opposites, foods and toys.
Beyond Baby Signing Time program is designed for graduates of our Play, Sing and Sign program or families who have some knowledge of sign language! Our families expand their vocabulary with more hands on learning and fun with themes such as "All About Me," "My Five Senses," "Shapes," "My ABC's," "Let's Go Camping" and more!
Parent & Tot: Preschool Signs is based on Signing Time materials. Each session focuses on a different element: Counting, ABCs, Numbers, Seasons, Colors, etc. designed for families interested in learning a fun and hands-on second language! Weekly themes include getting along, asking questions, move and groove, zoo animals, our five senses and going to school. Each week also features a unique signing tip in which we will discuss the benefits of using ASL with toddlers and school-age children, as well as learn more about deaf culture. Each child will also work towards the completion of a Signing booklet or a series of crafts over the course of the session.
It's Signing Time! Classes will be structured with activities, crafts, games and story time. In addition to learning ASL, participants will also expand their problem-solving skills, sorting, counting, sequencing, learn the value of courage and kindness and much more! Topics include; Incredible Insects; A Rainy Day (Weather Exploration); Awesome Animals; The Amazing Human Body; Plants & Flowers; and Happy Healthy Me!
