We custom design our programs specifically to boost baby's brain development through learning American Sign Language (ASL)! In our programs we offer a teaching environment that focuses on key areas which enhances lil ones interpersonal, fine and gross motor skills while learning ASL! Each class leads caregivers through a fun and engaging environment implementing and executing these objectives through book reading, music, crafts, lap bounces, finger plays and games that will help their child with the development of their 5 senses.
Each program includes a minimum of 16 core classes with each class lasting 45-60 minutes based on a theme that is reflected in all of the activities, books and songs. Our programs focus on enhancing communication, strengthening the bond between baby and caregiver and engaging in quality one on one time with the child by teaching a variety of signs that can be used for years to come. In each class we include multi-sensory activities which have been grouped into three categories, each supporting a specific learning modality: Hear It (songs and poems for auditory learners); See It (books and felt boards for visual learners); Do It (lap bouncing and finger plays for kinesthetic learners) Due to the nature of our program we limit our learning centre to 10 families per program. |
VALENTINE'S SPECIAL THEMED CLASS
Lil Signing Hands is excited to offer special themed classes during the holiday seasons! Halloween, Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day & Father's Day are all available to learn in ASL!
Our Special Holiday Themed Classes include:
-Holiday photo shoot
-Learn a holiday song in ASL
-Learn many popular holiday words in ASL
-A special holiday book reading, signed in ASL
-Holiday activities/games and/or craft
-Special treat/gift for each child
